BOWEN THERAPY Bowen is an all embracing vibrational energy therapy, safe to use on anyone, newborns to elderly, with any condition from sports injuries to chronic or organic complaints. A treatment comprises sequences of small gentle moves, each at a specific site of the body. There is no forceful manipulation, just a light cross- fibre manoeuvering of a muscle, tendon or ligament, pleasant to the recipient. Bowen is gentle and effective, with substantial relief frequently attained after the first session, and generally clients only need two or three treatments, usually one week apart. Conditions that have responded well include sport and accident injuries (chronic or acute), frozen shoulders, stress disorders, neck and head tension, whiplash, musculo-skeletal pain and imbalance, R.S.I., organic complaints - respiratory - digestive - menstural - hormonal, chronic fatigue, strokes, bed wetting, and a general feeling of 'not being right'.
